A Tongan international, Paul Alamoti debuted in the NRL with Canterbury-Bankstown in 2023, playing 19 games in his rookie season. A former Australian Schoolboys representative (2019) and NSW Under-19s player (2022), he remains one of the game’s most promising outside backs.
Alamoti enjoyed a breakout 2025 season with the Penrith Panthers, re-establishing himself as a dangerous outside back and key contributor in the club’s finals campaign.
After a mid-season stint in reserve grade, Alamoti forced his way back into the NRL side and made an immediate impact, finishing the year with 17 tries and 15 goals in 19 appearances. His strong running and finishing ability were highlighted by a hat-trick against former club Canterbury late in the season, followed by a double in the Panthers’ finals clash with Brisbane.
Alamoti is contracted to the Panthers until the end of 2027.
