Jaxen Edgar is a promising young fullback, known for his speed, agility and natural attacking instinct. A product of the club’s junior pathways, he has long been regarded as one of Penrith’s standout emerging talents.
He made his NRL debut in Round 26, 2025 against Canterbury-Bankstown, coming into the match late after a double concussion disruption to the side. Edgar’s rise through the system has been marked by strong junior honours, including being named the 2023 NSWRL Harold Matthews Cup Player of the Year and selection in the Australian Schoolboys team.
Following his NRL debut, Edgar was elevated to the Top 30 squad for the 2026 season and is signed with Panthers until at least the end of 2028.
