Garner joined the Penrith Panthers ahead of the 2023 NRL season, bringing valuable NRL experience after 75 first-grade appearances with the Wests Tigers following his 2018 debut. The backrower also represented the Prime Minister’s XIII in 2022.
He claimed his maiden NRL premiership in 2023 and played 17 matches in 2024, including Penrith’s Grand Final victory over Melbourne. Garner followed that with 23 appearances in 2025, as the Panthers finished seventh and reached the preliminary final, where they fell narrowly to Brisbane.
He is contracted with the club until the end of 2028.
