Halfback Nathan Cleary controlled proceedings and a number of desperate efforts in the second forty helped secure the Battle of the West victory and man of the match honours.

The combination of wingers Brian To'o and Josh Mansour gave the Panthers plenty of go-forward with the pair chalking up 404 metres and 42 runs.

Making his first NRL appearance, Mitch Kenny played a vital role when he was injected into the game. The 21-year-old made 24 tackles and 42 metres in just 29 minutes of play.

NRL touch judge Chris Butler is an honorary inclusion for his tumble in the second half.
