Vote for your best on ground against the Sydney Roosters for the chance to win a signed Panthers football.
A Nathan Cleary field goal has sent the Panthers into a seventh-straight preliminary final after a dramatic 19-12 victory over the Sydney Roosters at CommBank Stadium.
Cleary proved the difference when it mattered most, slotting a field goal in the 70th minute to break the deadlock and put the Panthers in front.
The halfback also linked up with Dylan Edwards for Penrith’s second try before being sent to the sin bin late in the first half. Despite the setback, Cleary returned to the field and played a starring role in securing the win.
Brian To’o also produced a crucial moment in the dying stages, scooping up a loose ball before racing away to seal the Panthers victory.
Liam Martin opened the scoring with an early try, while Edwards continued his strong form with another impressive performance at the back.
