Cogger cops high tackle, dangerous contact charges

Panthers player Jack Cogger has received two charges from the NRL Match Review Committee following the Round 25 match against the Storm.

Cogger received a grade two careless high tackle charge and a grade one dangerous contact charge.

As it is his third offence for the careless high tackle charge, Cogger faces a three-match suspension with an early guilty plea. If he elects to challenge the charge and is unsuccessful, he faces a four-match suspension.

For the grade one dangerous contact charge, Cogger faces a $3,000 fine with an early guilty plea. If he elects to challenge the charge and is unsuccessful, he faces a two-match suspension.

The club has until 12pm Saturday to enter a plea.
