The front of the jersey depicts the Mulgoa totem the black swan (Mulgo) taking flight in ripples of water, reflecting the iconic colours of the Panthers over the years.

Like the black swan, the Panthers have experienced a transformation throughout the 60 seasons and have shown resilience across many years to become a premier club in the NRL. The middle of the swan features a circle with a single hand print encompassed by water ripples extending out to the symbols for man and woman who helped build the club.

The black swan was selected as a representation of the land on which the Panthers play, train and work.

Following the water ripples stands the Blue Mountains with the three sisters, reflecting the landscape in which the Panthers call home.

The top of the jersey features six white stars, reflecting the club’s premiership success, with grey stars surrounding them. The zig zag pattern near the neck reflects the current façade of the club’s future home ground.

On the sleeves are subtle kangaroo and emu tracks with stars representing the local animals.

On the back, the totems of the Darug Man (Flying Fox) and Darug Woman (Ringtail Possum) have been reimagined, sitting above the coloured water ripples. Situated above the ripples is a boomerang representing the club’s strength and endurance throughout the years.

The jersey was designed by Natasha Fordham alongside Panthers Indigenous Wellbeing Officer Glen Liddiard.

Indigenous Jersey pre-orders are now open via the Panther Shop and close on Sunday 10 May.

Stock delivery is expected to land at the Panther Shop in the week commencing Monday 20 July.
