Pathways Results: Round 1

The Panthers enjoyed a sweep across the lower grades in Round 1, with the NSW Cup side defeating the North Sydney Bears in the final minutes, while the Jersey Flegg Cup team beat the Kaiviti Silktails 22–12. 

Knock On Effect NSW Cup

The Panthers produced a strong attacking performance in their NSW Cup match, finishing with four tries and two conversions.

Penrith opened their scoring shortly after halftime when Harry Armstrong crossed in the 42nd minute. The Panthers continued to build pressure and were rewarded again through Zakauri Clarke, who scored in the 55th minute.

A late attacking surge sealed the performance, with Toby Crosby touching down in the 77th minute before Jack Cole added another try in the 79th minute. Clarke also converted two late tries, slotting goals in the 78th and 79th minutes.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Panthers team delivered a strong performance in their junior clash, scoring four tries and converting three of them.

Penrith opened their account through Tuaomaliemavaitoelau Patea in the 12th minute before Cameron Kanaan added another shortly after in the 20th minute to build early momentum. After the break, Hokafonu Lemoto extended the lead with a try in the 43rd minute, while Haami Loza sealed the attacking effort with a fourth try in the 71st minute.

Kye Raven handled the kicking duties, converting tries in the 14th and 44th minutes, while Patea added another conversion in the 72nd minute.
