The Panthers Foundation and Zenn Ability celebrated International Day of Persons with Disability by hosting a Play Like A Panther Gala Day at CommBank Stadium to engage local students.
More than 170 students with a disability in Western Sydney attended the Gala Day, supported by Panthers Foundation Participation Presenting Partner Zenn Ability, and Principal Partner Commonwealth Bank.
Participants had the opportunity to channel their Penrith Panthers’ heroes by emerging from the sheds, wearing a gifted Panthers jersey, onto the playing field of CommBank Stadium, where they participated in a range of rugby league drills and physical activities.
The day capped off a successful 2025 for the Foundation that saw over 750 young people with a disability take part in programs across Penrith, Bathurst, Mudgee and now CommBank Stadium.
The Panthers Foundation would like to thank each of its partners and donors for their support that allows them to create more and more opportunities such as this for local and young people across its communities.
This event is one of many Panthers Foundation ran this year to engage over 10,000 people through inclusive education, community and participation programs.
