Panthers and Nectr unveil the Nectr Rugby League Academy

The Panthers Rugby League Academy has officially been renamed as the Nectr Rugby League Academy, marking an expanded partnership between the Penrith Panthers and Nectr.

This naming rights partnership extension expands on Panthers longstanding relationship with Nectr, whose branding has appeared on the back-left panel of the club’s playing and training shorts over the past three seasons. The new agreement will run through until at least the end of the 2027 season.

Nectr is an Australian energy retailer dedicated to providing cleaner, smarter and more affordable energy solutions. With sustainability and innovation at its core, the company continues to support Australian homes and businesses in transitioning to a cleaner, more efficient energy future.

Our renewed partnership with the Panthers is more than just naming rights, it’s a shared vision for a cleaner, more sustainable future. By aligning with the Panthers we reinforce our mission to drive positive change in communities, both on and off the field.

Louisa Sumagui, Head of Marketing at Nectr

The Nectr Rugby League Academy stands as a true reflection of Nectr’s commitment to greener infrastructure and lower operating costs. The precinct is powered by solar panels, installed by a Nectr subsidiary in 2021, saving the club more than $54,000 in annual operating expenses.

We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Nectr. Their support has been instrumental in creating an environment that is not only high-performing but also sustainable, ensuring the long-term success of our club both on and off the field.

Matt Cameron, Panthers Rugby League CEO

As part of the ongoing partnership, Panthers members can enjoy $500 off their total installation cost when they choose Nectr to power their home or business.
