Panthers principal partner MyPlace has extended their commitment to the Panthers Foundation through to 2026.
In addition to their Panthers jersey and apparel sponsorship, MyPlace will continue to support the Panthers Foundation as the presenting partner of its Education pillar for this year and next.
MyPlace will help the Panthers Foundation in achieving its education objective of using sport to support and inspire pupils, increasing their educational achievement, life skills and access to qualifications and work.
"Education is the most powerful way to provide support that works," said Dave Devoy, MyPlace Managing Director.
"If you do charitable work you have to be so careful to ensure that it empowers the recipient; education achieves this. And on a personal note, it was my education that was our passport to emigrate to Australia, something I am very grateful for."
Panthers Foundation’s education programs span across all ages and junctures on pupils’ education journey. Panthers on the Prowl, Adopt-A-School and the SEDA Sport & Business Diploma are among the Panthers Foundation education initiatives.
As part of the partnership, MyPlace has committed to providing over 500 free tickets to local school children to attend home games at CommBank Stadium in the new Panthers Schools Bay.
MyPlace will also provide two $2,500 grants annually to students taking part in the Panthers' School & Business Diploma Program.
"We are delighted that our current association with such an outstanding national organisation extends to supporting our Foundation," said Panthers Foundation Chairman Peter Graham.
"David and Margaret Devoy’s personal commitment to the growth and development of the staff in their own organisation makes their company an ideal partner in the Education pillar of our Foundation."
Penrith Panthers and Panthers Foundation thank MyPlace for their continued support of local pupils across the Panthers footprint.
