The Panthers and Cowboys shared the spoils in a demanding, 90-minute nail-biter in North Queensland on Saturday.

Blaize Talagi fired for the Panthers, directly involved in all five Penrith tries. The young five-eighth provided four try assists, before scoring the final one for himself.

Brian To'o announced his return from injury as the Panthers top metre-eater, making 196 running metres.

Mitch Kenny led the defensive effort with an impressive 46 tackles while co-captain Isaah Yeo completed 38 with zero missed.
