UPDATE (Monday 11:55am) Mitch Kenny has accepted the early guilty plea and will miss two matches.

Panthers hooker Mitch Kenny has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following Saturday night’s win over the Roosters.

Kenny has been charged with a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact offence for his tackle on Roosters player Nat Butcher in the fourth minute of the Round 7 clash.

The Panthers hooker will be suspended for two matches if he accepts the early guilty plea, or can risk a three match ban if he challenges the charge.

The Panthers have until 12pm on Monday to enter a plea.
