May, Leniu cop high tackle charges

Panthers winger Taylan May and prop Spencer Leniu have been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee for high tackles during the Qualifying Final against Parramatta. 

May received a Grade 2 charge for his high tackle on Eels player Will Penisini in the 12th minute of the match.

May faces a one-week suspension with an early guilty plea or two weeks on the sideline if he is found guilty at the judiciary.

Meanwhile, Leniu has received a monetary fine for a Grade 1 high tackle on Isaiah Papali'i and is available for the Preliminary Final. 

Panthers has until 12pm Sunday to enter pleas for both charges.
