Cleary cops dangerous contact charge

Panthers halfback Nathan Cleary has been charged with dangerous contact by the NRL Match Review Committee following Friday night’s win over the Broncos.

Cleary received a grade one charge for contact on Broncos forward Billy Walters in the 65th minute of the Round 6 clash, however the halfback only faces a monetary penalty.

Cleary will be eligible to play in next week’s home match against the Raiders at BlueBet Stadium on Sunday.
