Cobra Waste Man of the Month: June

Cobra Waste June Man of the Month

State of Origin selections saw the Panthers use a total of 25 players in fixtures against Wests Tigers, Cronulla Sharks and Sydney Roosters during the month of June.

The makeshift Panthers came up short against Wests Tigers and were denied a brave comeback win against Cronulla courtesy of a late field goal.

The Origin stars returned for the Round 15 clash against the Roosters at BlueBet Stadium and helped inspire a convincing 38-12 victory.

Throughout the month Matt Burton was a constant danger with ball-in-hand, whether he played at five-eighth or centre. He crossed for three tries, laid on three more and forced three repeat sets.

James Fisher-Harris was tireless in his work and carried the Panthers forward regardless of the scoreboard. He averaged 174 metres per game and 26 tackles across the three fixtures.
