Panthers partners with Torrens University

Penrith Panthers is delighted to announce Torrens University has signed on as the club’s exclusive education partner for the next two seasons.

Torrens University is Australia’s newest and fastest-growing university, and prides itself on its personalised and progressive approach to higher education.

The new partnership will provide Panthers players, staff, members and corporate partners the chance to further their education through a wide variety of courses and study options.

Existing Torrens University students will also have the opportunity to enhance their industry experience through practical internships at Panthers.

“We’re delighted to welcome Torrens University into the Panthers family as a new major partner,” Panthers Wellbeing and Education Coordinator Kevin Kingston said.

“Their flexible course structures and support services make higher education accessible for all players at Panthers, from our junior representative teams to our NRL squad.

“I believe this partnership will have a profound impact on our players, our club and our community.”

Torrens University offers undergraduate, graduate, higher degree by research and specialised degree programs in a wide range of academic disciplines, delivering programs both online and in-person.

“We’re thrilled to announce this partnership with Panthers,” Torrens University Pathways and Partnerships Development Manager Jessica Pankiw said.

“We currently have over 200 elite athletes studying at Torrens University and we’re excited to now provide all Panthers players with that same opportunity.

“This partnership will also allow us to connect with the wider Panthers community and showcase our full range of flexible education options.”
