Kikau charged with dangerous throw

Panthers forward Viliame Kikau is set to miss the Preliminary Final after being charged with a dangerous throw in Friday's win over the Roosters.

The NRL Match Review Committee has issued Kikau with a grade one dangerous throw charge, which will see him serve a one-game suspension with the early guilty plea.

The tackle in question occurred in the 8th minute of the thrilling Qualifying Final victory at Panthers Stadium.

The club has until 12pm Sunday to enter a plea to the charge.
