Westfund Injury Update: Dean Whare

Scans have revealed the full extent of the hamstring injury suffered by Dean Whare in last Thursday's defeat to Cronulla Sharks.

The Panthers centre will be sidelined for between two and four weeks after being diagnosed with a grade one hamstring tear.

The 29-year-old suffered the injury in the second half of the game at PointsBet Stadium.

His replacement in the Panthers side to face South Sydney will be confirmed when coach Ivan Cleary names his squad on Tuesday.
