Injury Update: Wayde Egan

Scans have revealed the extent of the knee injury suffered by Panthers hooker Wayde Egan in last Friday's defeat to the Warriors.

The 21-year-old has been diagnosed with a grade one medial ligament injury.

The relatively minor nature of the injury means Egan is still a chance of taking the field against Melbourne Storm this Friday.

Should Egan be unavailable, Sione Katoa is the natural replacement at hooker, while Tyrone Peachey and Tyrone May are both capable in the position.

The Panthers line-up to face the Storm will be revealed when coach Cameron Ciraldo names his team on Tuesday afternoon.
