The Panthers will compete in the Semi Finals of the inaugrual Tarsha Gale Cup when they take on the Parramatta Eels at UOW Jubilee Oval on Saturday morning.

The Panthers earned their place in the Semi Finals after handily defeating Sydney Indigenous Academy 40-12 at North Sydney Oval during the week.

A hat-trick to Cassie Ormsby led the way for the Panthers and set up a Western Sydney finals showdown.

The Panthers got the better of the Eels the last time the two sides met in Round 5, running out 28-22 victors at New Era Stadium.

The Tarsha Gale Cup is a female under 18s nine-a-side competition conducted as part of the NSWRL Junior Representative program, played in conjunction with Harold Matthews and SG Ball fixtures.

Named after former Australian and NSW captain Tarsha Gale, the tournament continues the NSWRL push towards an elite female league.
