After a season where he dazzled us with his speed and skill, Tyrone Peachey has won the 2015 Merv Cartwright Medal.
Peachey enjoyed selection in multiple representative sides this year, starting with the Indigenous All Stars during the pre-season. He then ran out for the New South Wales City side during the Origin period and was in the initial Prime Minister's XIII squad for their match against Papua New Guinea.
The diminutive backrower justified his selections with a strong back end of the season for Penrith as he scored four tries and averaged 134 metres in the final seven rounds, including a scintillating performance against New Zealand Warriors in Round 23.
