PANTHERS vs SEA EAGLES
SATURDAY 16th MAY
KICK-OFF: 1PM
ST MARYS LEAGUES STADIUM

Cameron Ciraldo has named a 19 man squad to face Manly at St Mary’s Leagues Stadium on Saturday 16th May at 1pm. Fresh off an away win over Brisbane, he will be getting his boys ready to take down the Sea Eagles who are eager to get back to winning ways.

Robert Jennings and Sione Katoa have both been named in the starting line-up similar to the team that travelled up to Suncorp Stadium. The only additions are Cameron Collins and Sam Elwin on an extended bench.

The Panthers showed Ciraldo how good they can be against the Broncos away from home and they will be looking to repeat that effort against Manly. When the teams last met in round 6, the Panthers ran away with the game in a bulldozing second half effort.

Our boys come into the game on the weekend confident that they can grab the 2 points. Against Brisbane every player on the team sheet stepped up and they continue to improve each game. Captain Sione Katoa controlled the sets with his dummy half decision making and the forward pack defended their line as a unit and charged the ball through the Broncos with a point to prove.

The coach will be reminding his chargers that he’s expecting an even better performance this week. Nobody’s spot in the team is guaranteed as has been Ciraldo’s policy all season. Once the game starts on Saturday all past form is forgotten and the players have to show their coach what pulling on the Panthers jersey means to them.
