Hi! And welcome to the first team list Tuesday of the 2014 NRL season!

This weekend the Panthers host Newcastle at Sportingbet Stadium in all three grades.

NRL: Jamie Soward and Peter Wallace will line up alongside each other for the first time this weekend when the Panthers host Newcastle at Sportingbet Stadium.

Sowie was forced to sit out our final trial match against Newtown after suffering a minor ankle injury the week before, but he is now back to full fitness.

And it will be Wally’s first game as Penrith co-captain, after Ivan Cleary asked him to lead the team alongside Kevin Kingston.

NSW CUP: A few big names will bolster our reserve grade side this week, with coach Garth Brennan having Kevin Naiqama, Isaac John, Matt Robinson, Sam Anderson and Ryan Simpkins at his disposal.

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has been named at fullback, with Isaah Yeo, Shaun Spence, Reagan Campbell-Gillard and 2013 NYC Grand Final winning captain Daniel Foster are also in the starting side.

NYC: Coach Trent Barrett has a plethora of talent to choose from for his first official season game as head coach of the Panthers Under 20’s side.

Andy Saunders returns from injury at prop, speedster Brent Naden will wear the #1 jersey, and the towering Wellington Albert will come off the bench for some added grunt!
