Penrith Panthers is pleased to announce the signing of Jett Cleary on a two-year deal, bringing the local junior home until at least the end of the 2028 NRL season.
The 21-year-old halfback returns to Penrith after two seasons with the New Zealand Warriors.
A product of St Dominic’s College, Cleary progressed through the Panthers development system, representing the club in the Harold Matthews Cup and SG Ball Cup.
He also represented New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges at the Australian Schoolboys Championships in 2023.
Cleary made an impressive NRL debut for the Warriors against Newcastle in Round 26 of the 2026 season, recording three try assists and three tackle breaks in a 46-32 victory.
Panthers General Manager of Rugby League Shane Elford said the club is pleased to welcome Cleary back to Penrith.
“We’re excited to have Jett return to the club,” Elford said.
“He’s a talented young halfback who came through our pathways, and it’s been pleasing to see him continue his development and earn his NRL debut.
“He returns with valuable experience and a strong connection to Panthers. We look forward to seeing him build on that progress and take the next step in his career here.”
