Edwards claims his second Merv Cartwright Medal

Dylan Edwards has capped off another outstanding season by taking home the prestigious Merv Cartwright Medal at the club’s annual awards night.

Recognising his consistency, leadership and impact throughout the 2026 NRL season, the honour sees Edwards join the list of Panthers greats to have claimed the club’s top individual award.

Liam Henry was recognised with the John Farragher Award for Courage and Determination for his resilience and commitment throughout the season, while also receiving the Senior Education Award in recognition of his commitment to education.

Winger Tom Jenkins was named Members Player of the Year for the second consecutive year following another standout season in the NRL.

Billy Phillips was named the Ben Alexander Rookie of the Year following an impressive debut season, while Brian To’o was recognised as Club Person of the Year for his contribution to the club both on and off the field.

To’o was also awarded Try of the Year for his Round 3 effort, making it a memorable night for the Panthers winger.

The club’s pathways and women’s programs were also celebrated, with Haami Loza named Jersey Flegg Player of the Year and Jaxen Edgar taking out NSW Cup Player of the Year.

Chloe Pallisier was recognised as the NSW Women’s Premiership Player of the Year, while Julie Taufao received the Junior Education Award.

The night celebrated the achievements of Panthers players and members across the NRL, pathways and women’s programs, recognising another season of individual excellence and contribution across the club.
