Three Panthers have been named in Australia’s extended squad for the Rugby League World Cup 2026.
Isaah Yeo and Liam Martin are joined on the Kangaroos list by club teammate Tom Jenkins, who has been included as a shadow player by coach Kevin Walters.
Jenkins enjoyed a stunning 2026 NRL season, breaking multiple club and league records as he scored 30 tries and claimed the Ken Irvine Medal.
Yeo and Martin have each been named for their second World Cup campaign, having both featured in Australia’s 2022 triumph in the UK.
After leading Australia to the Pacific Cup in 2024 and The Ashes in 2025, Yeo is now set to captain the Kangaroos on the World Cup stage for the first time.
The Rugby League World Cup 2026 kicks off on Thursday 15 October with Australia facing New Zealand at Allianz Stadium.
The tournament will be hosted across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, with the Final to be played at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday 15 November.
