Australian smart home system manufacturer, MyPlace, is proud to continue as the Penrith Panthers’ Principal Partner, remaining part of the premiership-winning team until the end of the 2029 NRL season.
MyPlace is a pioneer in smart home and energy saving technology, leading the way with innovative, integrated air conditioning systems that deliver comfort, control and energy savings for everyday Australians. The Australian designed technology uses more precise control and sensing to manage energy use more effectively, reducing air-con energy bills by up to 46 per cent.
MyPlace Group General Manager Darren Bee said the valued relationship with Penrith Panthers has only grown stronger since their principal partnership began in 2024.
“Successful partnerships are built on shared values. We admire the Panthers dedication to their players, supporters and wider community, along with their commitment to developing individuals at all levels,” Mr Bee said.
“Nothing connects Australian’s more than sport, and we are pleased we can continue to connect with our customers and community through this sponsorship. A premiership winning team and premium Australian technology is a great collaboration if you ask us!”
MyPlace branding will remain on the front of the Panthers jerseys, apparel, signage, the Panthers Digital Network and NRL Digital network.
MyPlace will continue to support Panthers members and fans with innovative technology designed to deliver greater comfort, control and energy efficiency, helping bring their household energy bills closer to zero.
The MyPlace effect: Winning partnership extended
Penrith Panthers Rugby League CEO Matthew Cameron highlighted the success of the partnership over the past three seasons.
“The Penrith Panthers values the strong relationship we’ve built with MyPlace. We are proud to connect this Australian-made company with our passionate fans and strong community ties,” Mr Cameron said.
“We have a winning culture at the club that drives long-term success and we recognise this attribute in MyPlace too, as Australian tech pioneers for more than 35 years.”
In addition, MyPlace’s partnership will also continue with the Panthers Foundation, providing young people in Western Sydney with programs that strengthen education, confidence and connection to community.
MyPlace has funded grants to students taking part in the Panthers' School & Business Diploma Program, powered by SEDA.
This season, MyPlace provided 500 local students with free tickets to Panthers home games.
“Programs like this help young people feel connected to their community and feel inspired by their local team. Creating lasting memories for these kids is something we’re incredibly proud of,” Mr Bee said.
“As Penrith Panthers principal partners, MyPlace is looking forward to continuing its contribution to the Panthers and supporting the premier sporting team in Western Sydney.”
