Pathways Wrapped: Panthers record two victories

The Panthers secured victories in the NSW Cup and NSW Women’s Premiership, while the Jersey Flegg Cup side was defeated by the Storm.

NSW Women’s Premiership

The Panthers secured a 34-12 victory over the Steelers after taking a 24-6 lead into half-time. Olive Connolly, Malena Lavea, Yasmine Baker and Samantha Hanrahan all crossed in the opening 40 minutes, with Hanrahan scoring twice. Julie Notise and Hanrahan added second-half tries, with Hanrahan completing her hat-trick. Claudia Bush converted three of the Panthers seven tries.

NSW Cup

The Panthers recorded a 40-20 victory over the Storm after trailing 22-16 at half-time. Kalani Leuluai-Going scored twice in the first half, with Vea Tapa’atoutai and Jirah Liddiard also crossing before the break. Luron Patea, Tom Ale and Patrick Moimoi added second-half tries to seal the 20-point win, while Zakauri Clarke converted six of the Panthers seven tries.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Panthers were defeated 34-22 by the Storm after trailing 22-10 at half-time. Cameron Kanaan and Keahn Skipps crossed in the opening six minutes before Jack Colley and Darcy Feltham added second-half tries. Kye Raven converted three of the Panthers four tries.
