Penrith's Jersey Flegg side came up just short despite a spirited second-half fightback, falling in a high-scoring contest after trailing early. Leo-Stipe Latu crossed twice, while Tua Patea also bagged a double as the Panthers threatened a comeback. Kye Raven was flawless with the boot, converting all four tries, but Penrith couldn't quite close the gap before full-time.

Murphy completed his double in the second half, while Zakauri Clarke added six conversions in an emphatic all-round team performance.
