Casey McLean is in the frame to make his NSW Blues debut after being named among four Panthers for the 2026 State of Origin series opener.
The 20-year old has been selected on the NSW bench, joining Isaah Yeo, Nathan Cleary and Brian To'o in coach Laurie Daley's squad for Game One at Accor Stadium on Wednesday 27 May.
Casey McLean has enjoyed a spectacular 2026 season, with four tries, seven try assists and an average of 146 run metres across 10 appearances for the Panthers.
Brian To'o, the reigning Brad Fittler Medal winner, takes his usual place in the NSW squad after scoring five tries in the 2025 series.
Isaah Yeo is set for his second series as NSW Origin captain, named to lead the Blues from the front row.
Nathan Cleary wears the no. 7 jersey for NSW, chasing his fourth State of Origin series triumph.
