The Panthers remain undefeated this season, winning 5/5 games and delivering another dominant performance. With a whopping nine tries, they shared the points around through Liam Martin, Freddy Lussick, Thomas Jenkins (2), Nathan Cleary, Casey McLean, Brian To’o, Luke Garner and Dylan Edwards in a clinical display.
Thomas Jenkins continued his incredible start to the season, becoming the first winger in history to open the year with five straight doubles, while also leading all players with a massive 244 run metres. Dylan Edwards was again outstanding at the back with 235 run metres and two try assists, while Casey McLean provided strong impact with 182 metres, a try, and a line break.
Nathan Cleary controlled the contest, finishing with a try, 7 conversions, and 402 kicking metres to steer the Panthers around the park. Brian To’o also made a big impact through the middle with 194 metres, consistently generating momentum early in sets.
Defensively, Isaah Yeo led the way with a huge 42 tackles, supported strongly by Freddy Lussick (35) and Isaiah Papali’i (26), capping off a complete and well-rounded team performance.
