While their spirited comeback against the Cowboys fell just short, the Tigers will take plenty of confidence from their last showing and will be keen to impress against the Panthers.

After a poor first half that included two sin binnings that had them on the back foot and trailing 18-6 at halftime, the Tigers mounted a second-half comeback to score four unanswered tries to end the game, to lose 32-28.

The Panthers coming into the match after playing in a tight match against the Eels, with a seesawing contest seeing them come out on top, with skipper Nathan Cleary stepping up when it counted to take control late in the game to post an 18-10 win.
