Gameday Guide: Battle of the West

An epic Battle of the West awaits as the Panthers host Parramatta Eels in a double-header at CommBank Stadium on Sunday.

For the first time in 2025, the Panthers NRL and NSW Cup teams will join forces at home to tackle their local rivals in two blockbuster showdowns.

Arrive early and immerse yourself in the pre-game atmosphere in the CommBank Stadium precinct. As our house DJ will provide the tunes, participate in a number of precinct activations including:

Inflatable Obstacle Course

Watch and cheer as your teammates, colleagues and friends challenge their way through this inflatable obstacle course and dive for the big finish to exit!

Fans five years or older can tackle the course.

Turner Freeman Pass the Ball

Put your skills to the test by taking on the Turner Freeman Pass the Ball set up in the CommBank Stadium precinct.

Cheerleader Workshop hosted by the Atmosphere Pantherettes

The Atmosphere Pantherettes will hold their inaugural Cheerleader Workshop for children aged 8-16.

The free workshop will run from 2pm to 3pm, with children required to register their attendance ahead of gameday (limited spots available).

NSW Cup Showdown

The NSW Cup returns to the gameday line-up as CommBank Stadium hosts its first Panthers double-header of 2025.

A 1:45pm NSW Cup kick-off will provide fans with a double dose of local derby action between the Panthers and Eels.

The Panther Van will be located outside Gate B. There will also be merchandise outlets inside Gate A and Gate B.

Getting to the Game

Important: Public Transport Update

Transport for NSW has announced the following due to planned trackwork on Sunday:

  • T1 Western Line: Buses replace trains between Emu Plains and Blacktown. Trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond, Blacktown and the City.
  • Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Bathurst and Blacktown. T1 trains run to a changed timetable between Blacktown and the City.

Members and fans travelling to the game can utilise the Transport for NSW Trip Planner.

All members and pre-purchased tickets to Sunday's game receive free integrated transport across the Sydney train, bus, light rail and ferry network to CommBank Stadium.

Fans can hop on the light rail direct to Prince Alfred Square, available from Westmead and Parramatta Train Stations.

CDC Charter Panther Bus

Alternatively, 2025 Panthers members can jump on the CDC Charter Panther Bus, leaving from and returning to Panthers Leagues Club. Limited seats are available. Pre-purchase to avoid missing out. Members are to utilise the login associated with their Panthers account to secure bus tickets.
