Rival NSW and Queensland coaches Laurie Daley and Billy Slater have resisted any late changes with the teams to line up as named for tonight's opening State of Origin at Suncorp Stadium.
Blues centre Stephen Crichton will take his place iafter overcoming a cork suffered at training on Monday.
The Bulldogs captain did not take part in the NSW captain's run at Suncorp Stadium but was cleared to play by medical staff on Tuesday night.
Matt Burton had been placed on standby to join the team as 18th man, however, he was not needed, and Campbell Graham will fill the role.
Kurt Mann is the 18th man for Queensland.
Talking to the media on Wednesday morning, Blues assistant coach Matt King said Crichton has recovered well from the cork.
"Campbell Graham's there in case anything happens, but we're looking good," King said.
Crichton left Ballymore, where the Blues trained on Monday, ahead of his team-mates for treatment on his left leg, which was strapped with an icepack.
Bulldogs head of football Phil Gould said Crichton would play through pain if needed to take the field for NSW.
“Hopefully he’ll play,” Gould said on 100% Footy on Monday night.
“But it’s a little worse than first expected. I mean he’s now in the hands of the NSW medical staff and I trust them.
“I said to them that he’s a very resilient chap. He plays with injuries all the time. He’ll know whether or not he can play. There’s no way he’s going to risk it and jeopardise a team performance.
“He knows it’s important and he knows he’s got a great replacement there in Campbell Graham, who has trained with the team all week.
“They’ll make the right decision. I trust them to do that. Other than that, I just hope he’s okay and he gets to play.”
Meanwhile, in better news for the Blues, prop Payne Haas is on track to play for New South Wales despite being hampered by a quad injury.
"Payne will play," Daley said at the captain's run.
The Blues forward did do some warm-up exercises on his own away from the main pack at the Monday training session, with reports after saying that he took part in most of the activities and is set to run out at Suncorp Stadium.
Elsewhere, Maroons coach Billy Slater has declared Queensland centre Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow will be right to go for Game One.
'The Hammer' sent a scare through the Maroons camp after suffering a knock at training on Sunday.
“A little bit of a scare the other day, I must admit I held my breath for a couple of seconds, but just got a bit of a bump," Slater said.
“He pulled through it fine and he's OK. (It was) just a bit of contact, he's alright.
“Like I said, I too held my breath for a couple of minutes whenever someone drops, but thankfully for not just Queensland, but for the Dolphins and Hamiso in general, he's OK."

Queensland: Maroons centre Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow did not finish the side’s Sunday training session, leaving the field early after bumping his knee during an opposed session. However a QRL spokesperson said there were "no major concerns”. Pat Carrigan required 30 stitches for a facial laceration suffered in a head clash against the Dragons on Sunday but he will be good to go for the series opener. Fullback Kalyn Ponga sat out two training sessions early in the camp will also be right to play. Billy Slater has handed Roosters rookie Robert Toia an Origin debut after Murray Taulagi suffered a calf injury, with Val Holmes shifting to the wing as a result. Cameron Munster and Daly Cherry-Evans will combine in the halves and Tom Dearden has been named the bench utility. No changes in Tuesday's 24-hour update with Kurt Mann (18th man) and Jesse Arthars retained in the squad.
New South Wales: Centre Stephen Crichton is set to take his place in the team after passing a fitness test on Tuesday night. While he came into camp after overcoming a groin issue, the new injury has been a fresh setback for the Blues. Prop Payne Haas took part in NSW's first session since arriving in Brisbane and is on track for Wednesday night. While he did break away from the main group to complete his warm-ups, Haas is a definite starter. Halfback Nathan Cleary is preparing for his first Origin match since Game One 2023 and will partner Mitchell Moses in the halves. Bulldogs forward Max King is set for his State of Origin debut off the bench. No changes in Tuesday's 24-hour update with Campbell Graham (18th man) and Stefano Utoikamanu retained in the squad.
