Judiciary Update: Sorensen seeks downgrade

Panthers can confirm the club will seek a downgrade to Scott Sorensen’s charge at the NRL Judiciary.

Following the Round 8 match against the Sea Eagles, Sorensen was cited for a Grade 2 shoulder charge on Nathan Brown in the 33rd minute, and was looking at a 2-3 match suspension.

Meanwhile Casey McLean and Dylan Edwards have accepted monetary penalties issued for their respective Grade 1 offences.

McLean was cited for a careless high tackle on Tom Trbojevic, while Edwards was charged with tripping Tommy Talau.
