Panthers Foundation launches 1000 Days as Premiers campaign

On June 29th, Penrith Panthers will mark an incredible milestone: 1,000 days as reigning NRL Premiers.

Since clinching the Provan-Summons Trophy at the 2021 Grand Final, the Panthers will become the first club in the NRL era to achieve this feat.

To celebrate this achievement, the Panthers Foundation, in partnership with principal partner MyPlace, is launching a special end-of-financial-year appeal – '1,000 Days as Premiers'.

Over the next six weeks leading up to the momentous 1,000th day, the Panthers are inviting the community to join in by contributing $10 to $50 to the Panthers Foundation. All funds raised will be dedicated to supporting the Foundation’s initiatives under the education pillar and Panthers on the Prowl program.

In addition, MyPlace has generously pledged to match the first 1,000 donations up to $50 made by each donor, effectively doubling the impact of every contribution.

Under its education pillar, the Panthers Foundation aims to use sport to support and inspire students, increasing their educational achievement, life skills and access to qualifications and work.

Along with reliving and hearing behind the scenes details on Panthers players and coaches’ favourite memories over the past 1,000 days, Panthers fans will get to see and learn more about the vital work being carried out across the Penrith Community that your donations will go directly towards.

“As we approach this milestone, we reflect not only on our triumphs on the field but also on the lasting impact we can have off it,” Panthers coach Ivan Cleary said.

Our '1000 days as Premiers' campaign is not just a celebration of sporting excellence, but a call to action for our community to join us in making a tangible difference.

“Through the amazing work of the Panthers Foundation and Panthers on the Prowl, we can continue to champion education and support initiatives that empower our youth and strengthen our community.”

MyPlace Group General Manager Darren Bee said: “We believe that business can be a force for good in the world – it doesn’t have to be all about profits. Business can also be a vehicle for positive influence in the community.”

“We also believe that children given the right environment – which includes the right guidance and the right education, have the best opportunity for a prosperous life. All of us got to here with the help of someone else, we’d like to pay that in turn to others, especially those perhaps less fortunate who aren’t in an environment with the right guidance or have difficulty accessing the right education.”

Join us in celebrating this historic milestone and supporting our community initiatives as we continue to make a positive difference together.

All donors will receive a special 1,000 Days as Premiers campaign thank you.
