The Panthers scored a comprehensive 42-12 victory over the Rabbitohs at Accor Stadium to kick off Round 9 of the NRL season.

Luke Garner had a standout game, making 37 tackles on the left edge, six tackle breaks and scoring a double.

Dylan Edwards cruised to 200 running metres and set up Taylan May's four-pointer from a quick 20 metre restart following a wayward Cody Walker kick in the second half.
