Season Snapshot: Brian To'o

The mind-blowing stats Brian To'o keeps putting up have become the norm.

No longer are the days of being wowed by a winger running for 200 metres and breaking five tackles a game, because that's become the average for To'o across a whole season.

The player affectionally known as 'Bizza' scored 21 tries, recorded 24 line-breaks and broke 109 breaks in 23 games this season - yet no one batted an eyelid because that's just what he does.

An elite winger of the modern era, To'o had another season to remember as he helped the Panthers to their third premiership in as many years. The international player scored four tries in the finals campaign, including a hat-trick against the Storm in the preliminary final.

He once again represented NSW Blues on the Origin arena and played in the end-of-season Test match for Samoa against Australia.

BEST TRY

We have 21 tries to pick from so it wasn't an easy choice - especially considering he was nominated trice for OAK Plus Try of the year - but we've gone with his Round 11 four-pointer against the Roosters... although Isaah Yeo gets the credit for it.

What can't they do?

WHAT WAS SAID

Bizza dedicated the premiership win to his family.

This (premiership) ring is definitely for my son. It was obviously a massive moment to finish the year like this but I know it will be ten times more special when my son arrives … Obviously being a football player was a dream but being a father is something I’ve always wanted to be so I’m really excited for that. I’m just truly blessed and grateful to have this moment and to be able to have my wife and son beside me, I’m so happy. In 2021, I proposed to my wife, and we got married last year, so it’s all going to God’s plan. I'm so grateful to share this journey with my wife and I just can't wait to start our family.
