Man of the Month: June

The Panthers recorded four victories in June with defeats of the Dragons, Roosters, Knights and Storm.

Dylan Edwards continues to be an attacking threat and the archictect of the defensive structure. The Clive Churchill Medallist ran for over 1,050 metres, made 24 tackle breaks and crossed the white line twice.

Izack Tago has been in fine form as of late switching between left and right centre with ease. The Samoan international made 28 tackle breaks, scored five four-pointers and averaged over 50 post contact metres.

Jack Cogger's seamless transition into the halves for the injured Nathan Cleary was a key reason for the team's success. Cogger was injected into the game midway through the first half of the Round 14 clash against the Dragons and got into the game with a pin-point cross-field kick for Brian To'o to dive over just before the half-time break.

The leader of the pack was ever-consistent throughout a period of team changes forced upon by representative selections. The Kiwi international averaged 28 tackles and 118 metres throughout June.

Vote for your best performer in June by Sunday 16 July for the chance to win a Panthers football signed by the NRL squad.
