Man of the Month: May

The Panthers recorded wins against the Warriors, Roosters and Broncos throughout May to climb to the top of the NRL ladder.

NSW Blues winger Brian To'o averaged 226 metres (66 post game) throughout May. To'o also made 13 tackle breaks and scored two four-pointers, taking his tally to 50 tries in 81 games.

Nathan Cleary controlled all three games like only he can, kicking for a total of 1,800 metres as well as averaging 166 running metres. The ever-reliable half-back also achieved a 92% conversion rate.

Dylan Edwards continues to be dangerous with ball-in-hand. The reigning Clive Churchill Medalist made 25 tackle breaks, scored two tries and averaged 247 running metres.

Scott Sorensen has made the most of his elevation to the starting side in recent weeks. The Kiwi international scored a double against the Roosters, made nine offloads on the left edge, averaged 126 metres per game and completed 93 tackles (90% tackle efficiency) in May.
