Panthers welcomes Sticks to Stadium students

Penrith Panthers was pleased to host a group of Indigenous students from Coffs Harbour as part of the 2023 Sticks to Stadium program.

The group visited Penrith for a camp ahead of the club’s Round 11 match against Sydney Roosters.

Participants had the opportunity to be taken on a guided tour through the Panthers world-class training facilities, as well as attending the Round 11 match at BlueBet Stadium.

The students had the opportunity to watch the team warmup on the field before the match and they met the star players following the Panthers’ comprehensive win over the Roosters.

Throughout the week, the group explored their Indigenous culture through various activities, including a visit to Sydney Zoo and a number of other Sydney and Blue Mountains sights.

Panthers will host three more groups as part of the Sticks to Stadium program later this season.
