Cleary cops dangerous throw charge

Panthers halfback Nathan Cleary has been charged for a dangerous throw following Friday night’s loss to Parramatta at CommBank Stadium.

Cleary received a grade three charge for a tackle on Eels five-eighth Dylan Brown in the 18th minute of the Round 20 clash.

Cleary faces a five-week suspension with an early guilty plea or six weeks on the sideline if he is found guilty at the judiciary.

The club has until 12pm on Sunday to enter a plea.
