Panthers young gun Isaiah Iongi named in Maroons U/19s squad

Panthers youngster Isaiah Iongi has been named in the Queensland Under 19s men's squad to play New South Wales at Leichhardt Oval on Thursday 13 June.

The Panthers Jersey Flegg fullback has gained representative selection following a strong start to the 2022 season.

Iongi joins the 22-player squad, who have assembled in Brisbane under experienced head coach Kurt Richards.

Richards takes the reins of a talented Queensland squad that includes Under 20s “marquee” player Jack Howarth, who is eligible for the highly-anticipated representative match.
