Torrens University extends Panthers partnership

Penrith Panthers is pleased to announce that Torrens University has extended its partnership with the club as the exclusive education partner for the 2022 season.

Torrens University offers high quality industry-led learning, and prides itself on personalised and progressive approach to higher education.

With vocational and higher education in undergraduate and post graduate programs across a wide range of academic disciplines, Torrens University delivers programs online and face to face.

Torrens University has campuses in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Auckland, making learning flexible and accessible.

The partnership will provide Panthers players, staff, members and corporate partners the chance to further their education through a wide variety of courses and study options.

Existing Torrens University students will also have the opportunity to enhance their industry experience through practical internships at Panthers.

“Panthers is delighted to continue our strong partnership with Torrens University for the 2022 season,” Panthers Wellbeing and Education Manager Kevin Kingston said.

“Not only will this provide clear benefits for Panthers players, staff, members and corporate partners, it will see increased opportunities for Torrens University students.

“The flexibility of the Torrens University course structures and support services make higher education accessible for all Panthers players, from our junior teams to our NRL squad.

“Co-captain Isaah Yeo and halfback Sean O’Sullivan are finding the approach Torrens University has to education beneficial as they juggle the demands of an NRL career and study.”

Torrens University Chief Commercial Officer Jerome Casteigt said the partnership would open up a number of exciting new opportunities for the respective organisations.

“The partnership encourages the growth and development for players, staff and members to pursue a quality education and flexible learning.
