Koroisau cops tripping charge

Panthers hooker Apisai Koroisau has been issued a tripping charge by the NRL Match Review Committee following Friday's defeat to Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.

Koroisau received a grade one tripping charge for contact on Sharks playmaker Shaun Johnson in the 55th minute of the game at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.

He faces a monetary penalty only and will be available for next Friday's clash with Sydney Roosters.

Koroisau was not charged for the tackle which saw him placed on report by referee Ashley Klein during the first half against the Sharks.
