Crichton cops contrary conduct charge

Panthers fullback Stephen Crichton has been charged with contrary conduct following the team's 20-point victory over Canberra Raiders on Friday.

The NRL Match Review Committee issued Crichton with a grade one contrary conduct charge for grabbing Canberra forward Joe Tapine while celebrating a Panthers try in the second half.

Crichton faces a fine of $1,350 with the early guilty plea, or an $1,800 penalty if he is found guilty by the NRL Judiciary.
