Panthers centre Stephen Crichton has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following last night's victory over Melbourne Storm.

Crichton has received a grade one dangerous contact (head/neck) charge, for a tackle on Chris Lewis in the 47th minute of the game at BlueBet Stadium.

With the early guilty plea, Crichton faces a fine of $1,150. He will be liable for a $1,500 fine if found guilty by the NRL Judiciary.

The NRL Match Review Committee laid no other charges following the match.
