Panthers Ultimate Team revealed

After tallying more than 90,000 votes from members and fans, the Panthers Ultimate Team has been decided.

The experimental concept saw the legends and unsung heroes of the club's 1991 and 2003 Grand Final sides go head-to-head in polls on the Panthers website and social media accounts.

With the final votes counted, players from the 2003 line-up have claimed 12 of the 17 positions in the Panthers Ultimate Team.

In some of the closest head-to-head battles, Panthers Hall of Fame inductee Royce Simmons edged out Luke Priddis at hooker, while Ryan Girdler just held off the challenge of Brad Fittler at centre.

Mark Geyer claimed a starting role to form an imposing back-row combination with Tony Puletua and Scott Sattler.

BACK IN STOCK: The '91 Legends Tee is available from the Panther Shop

There's also plenty of impact to come from the bench with Fittler joined by Craig Gower, John Cartwright and Trent Waterhouse.
