Hetherington facing high tackle suspension

Panthers forward Jack Hetherington is set to be sidelined after being charged for a high tackle on Sydney Roosters fullback James Tedesco.

Hetherington has been charged with a grade two careless high tackle by the NRL Match Review Committee after collecting Tedesco in the 50th minute of Saturday's victory at Panthers Stadium.

With loadings and carry-over points, Hetherington will receive a two-match suspension whether he enters an early guilty plea or is found guilty at judiciary.

Panthers has until 12pm Monday to respond to the charge.
